this Consul General of China in Christchurch: the fair has become a "green channel" for New Zealand enterprises to enter the Chinese market

"For many foreign enterprises, participating in the fair means entering the" green channel "of the Chinese market. Thanks to the exhibition and promotion of the fair, many high-quality and characteristic products have won more attention and come to consumers faster. " Wang Zhijian, Consul General of China in Christchurch, said in an exclusive interview with Xinhua news agency in Christchurch recently.

Wang Zhijian said that at the first Expo, fresh milk from New Zealand was put on the table of Chinese consumers from the farm in 72 hours. In less than a year, not only the first tier cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, but also the consumers of the third tier and fourth tier cities and even the remote mountainous areas can enjoy the "joint fund for Expo promotion" conveniently and quickly.

According to Wang Zhijian, New Zealand enterprises have achieved great success in the first Expo. The new exhibitors and 114 Chinese enterprises reached an intentional transaction amount of more than $590 million, with an average of nearly $100000 per square meter of exhibition area. New Zealand Pavilion shows unique customs, rich products and advanced concepts, becoming one of the most favored pavilions by buyers and visitors. In this year's fair, New Zealand's joint exhibition area has higher specifications, wider industry distribution and larger scale of exhibitors, especially the number of independent exhibitors has increased and their brands are better.

Wang Zhijian stressed that the fair will provide enterprises from all over the world, including New Zealand, with a rare opportunity to show their image, enhance their popularity and meet new customers. The exhibitors can communicate and interact with the target customers face to face in the most direct and effective way, so as to achieve the purpose of deeply exploring the Chinese market and even the third country market. In addition to promoting products, participating in the exhibition will also help enterprises of all countries master the latest policies and industry cutting-edge information of China, better understand the market situation and consumer preferences of China, and take targeted production and marketing strategies.

"China is New Zealand's largest trading partner, with rapid growth in bilateral trade volume, and has achieved the goal of reaching S $30 billion by 2020 ahead of schedule. China and Singapore have broad consensus on promoting economic globalization and maintaining the multilateral trading system. China's firm concept of opening up has enabled New Zealand enterprises to see broad prospects for cooperation. " Wang Zhijian said.

The economic and trade cooperation between China and Singapore has been continuously improving quality and efficiency, and is expanding to a wider range and a higher level. Wang Zhijian pointed out that in addition to the traditional primary industries, the new enterprises participating in the exhibition also involve e-commerce, aviation, biopharmaceutical, ecological environmental protection and other fields. In addition to Fonterra, Jiapei, yinjue and other industry giants, many small and medium-sized enterprises have also signed up. New exhibitors are more diversified, reflecting the good trend of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

The second China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. This year, the number of the world's top 500 companies and industry leading enterprises signed up to participate in the exhibition exceeded that of the first time. The first batch of new products and technologies is expected to be more than the first batch.
